Clap Clap City is the travel game with twists and turns. Can you match familiar landmarks to an unfamiliar city? Will you try to convince others that the Eiffel Tower is actually in Rome? You can gain it all in one second and lose it all the next but it’s still going to be a fun ride!
Sit tight, fasten your seatbelt and listen carefully.
This game is as straightforward as traveling. Each round, a player picks a city and all players look for a matching card (e.g. a tourist attraction, event or activity in that city). You clap twice when you find a match and then explain it (clap quickly for a chance to explain). Other players vote on the credibility of your story. If they believe you, keep the card and continue your world tour. The first player to visit five cities through successful matches wins the game.
But not so fast … Surprises like lost baggage, visa problems, flight delays or first-class upgrades may add twists and turns on your journey, or even leave you stranded!

FAQs (also covered in the game guide):
What’s a good matching card for a city? It's really up to the voters! For example, your matching card might be a tourist attraction in that city, an event that happened there, or an activity you might enjoy there. Other players listen to the explanation, ask questions, and use thumbs up or thumbs down to vote on whether they accept the match.
What’s the draw back to just clapping as quickly as possible every round? You lose 1 of the 10 matching cards allocated to you each time you clap first. Once you lose all 10, you are out of the game.
What’s the dice for? Only the first player to clap twice (the first clapper) gets to present their match. (If you can’t determine who clapped first, roll the dice.) There is an optional second clapper rule for groups of 5 or more.

This is an interesting game. I don't know how many times I would want to play it, especially with the same group of people. Needless to say, if there are one or two players that are extensively more travelled than the rest, they will have a definite advantage in the game in determining who is correct or not. I do like that the game depends on the players persuasion rather than actual factual accuracy. It reminds me of games like Balderdash and Apples to Apples. Definitely worth a try for a game night!
I've found this fun for a quick play, perhaps 30-45 minutes. I wouldn't play it much longer than that, as it gets boring, but I don't think it's designed for intense gameplay.
Educational yet fun for all ages! Great for families. Something a bit different! Love it!
My kids had a lot of fun with this game. They're 16 years old. I didn't want to tell him that they were learning.. shhhh
