Face cards (Ace, Jack, Queen, King, Joker) feature powerful African figures. Number cards follow the traditional design.

Here are two exciting ways to play and learn:

Option 1: Classic Match & Discard

Play it like a traditional card game with a legendary twist:

• Match cards by suit or number.
• If you draw a face card (K, Q, J, A), read the name aloud.
• Ace cards have short stories — read it out and discard it.
• Jokers = skip the next player’s turn + draw two extra cards.
• First to discard all cards wins!

Option 2: History Points Challenge (Quiz Style)

Perfect for learning and competing at the same time:

• If you draw a face card, ask another player to share a fact about that legend according to the description cards:

If they get it right, they keep the card (1 point).

If not, you keep it.

• Ace cards: Read the story aloud and keep it — it’s worth 1 point.
• Jokers: Automatically worth 2 points + you can skip the next player’s turn and they draw two cards.
• Most points at the end = winner!
