At Kulture Games, we believe that laughter is one of the most powerful tools for learning. That’s why we created Laughing For Literacy — a joyful initiative where fun meets education, and every chuckle is a step toward building stronger reading and comprehension skills.

Through culturally rich games, playful storytelling, and family-centered activities, Laughing For Literacy encourages kids (and adults!) to embrace reading in a way that feels exciting, relatable, and totally natural. Whether it’s learning new words through African proverbs, improving sentence structure through trivia, or just giggling through a game night that sparks conversation — we’re turning literacy into something to look forward to.

Our goal is simple: To raise readers, thinkers, and confident communicators by creating laughter-filled learning moments in schools, churches, and homes across the globe. Because when learning feels good, it sticks. And when it’s rooted in culture, it empowers.

In September 2018, we launched the #LaughingForLiteracy (LFL) initiative, thanks to YOU!! LFL started as a 1:1 initiative, where we gave a book to a kid in an under-served community for every game we sold. In 2019, we realized that we needed to do more than books, as members of the communities we served had other needs. As such, we changed the scope of LFL to educational and community development initiatives, allowing us to make an even bigger and more relevant impact in our communities.
