Hilarious cards

These cards were perfect to hand out as the sayings are hilarious. I don't even know what they mean but they instantly put a smile to my face (as well as to the faces of everyone I gave these cards to). First a confused face, then big grins. These cards are meant to brighten anyone's day! There's messages both on the outside as well as the inside. I wish the cards were printed on slightly thicker paper as they feel like the typical 99 cent Hallmark cards...thin and meh. However, the messages make them invaluable. Perfection!

If you like to be different from everyone else (and I certainly do), and don’t always have time to design your own greeting cards, then these are for you. I love the African sayings on each, the interesting, austere art, and I am eager to put them to use. How often do you have the opportunity to send someone a Nigerian greeting card? Because I enjoy doing mail art, in order to match the envelope to the card, I am going to have a blast with these. Finally, at long last, a way to use my African rubberstamps.EDIT: Having now come to use three of these cards, I have found that there is no adhesive on the flaps of the envelopes, so you’re going to need to have some glue handy. I’m deducting one star for this.

The game of African stereotypes and reactions. How many times have you been asked if you speak African? How many times have you rolled your eyes when the insect in the "feed children in Africa" commercial appears? Or when a friend who has never left the continent has a British accent?

What is the first thing that you think of when you hear these words: African parents, African nurses, a black cat, Nigeria, South Africa, Kenya, Egypt? We all use stereotypes, even without knowing it. This is a really fun game on the stories and experiences of Africans on the continent and in the diaspora.

In the box: 50 Question cards, 270 Answer cards and a game guide.

It's a pretty straightforward game. Each round, a rotating dictator (decision maker) reads a Question card and citizens (players) answer with the best fitting or funniest Answer card in their hand. The dictator reads the Answer cards aloud and decides who wins each round. A new round starts and a new dictator takes over.

Naija Particulars is ‘The Party Game of Nigerian Slangs & Phrases!’

Brace yourself for this exciting generational team game that celebrates Nigeria's robust culture; you'll get to explore Nigerian slangs/phrases from different time periods, influenced by numerous Nigerian tribes.

This high-spirited game will test just how well you know Nigerian Lingo and Pidgin English. If you know how to describe Wahala or “Up Nepa“ or “Wetin Dey Happen?”or “E Choke” then you know to play Naija Particulars!

How to play: Grab the cards, pick a side to play - Green (describe using 3 words only & gestures) or Grey (explain anyhow you like), provide hints to help your team guess as many slangs/phrases as possible in 60 seconds and win points. 

In the box: 300 words, a sand timer, and a game guide. 

Ages 15 and up.

  • Will I be charged a customs fee for international orders?  If you're not based in the United States, United Kingdom, or West Africa, we can't guarantee whether you'll be charged a customs fee. Any customs or import duties are charged once the package reaches its destination country. These charges must be paid by the recipient of the package. KultureGames will declare the full value of the products ordered when we ship out packages internationally. If any package gets sent back to us because customs fees weren't paid by the recipient, we won't be able to issue refunds.

We customized standard playing cards to reflect our African Kings, Queens, Warriors and Exceptional Leaders.

This is the 2nd game from our co-creation pipeline; we partnered with our friends at Gidiwords to make this game a reality. 

In the Box: 54 playing cards and 2 description cards

- 52 cards in each of the 4 suits of spades, hearts, diamonds and clubs. Each suit contains 13 cards: Ace, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, Jack, Queen, King.

- 2 Joker cards

- 2 description cards with high level summaries about the characters represented in the deck

**Note that all Ace, Jack, Queen, King and Joker cards include images of African Legends. For the purposes of this game, we define Jack as "Exceptional Leaders". Number cards are not customized.
